A highly configurable and intuitive control solution
Silicon Mobility, on the other hand, supplies the OLEA® COMPOSER – T222 Starter Kit for SKAI3 LV, the digital control and software aspects of the platform. It contains a reference control card with OLEA® T222 FPCU, a powerful control chip, and OLEA® APP INVERTER, a control software application adapted for the SKAI 3 LV inverter power module and fully configurable to handle a variety of 3-phase PMSM and to support WRSM electric motor and position sensors. The application offers efficient and safe torque and speed management with FoC (Field Oriented Control) and SVPWM algorithms (Variable Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) from 2 kHz to 100 kHz. It also contains numerous configurable safety mechanisms for error detection and reaction such as overcurrent, overvoltage and overtemperature. Calibration and validation are made possible thanks to native ASAM standard support. The starter kit also contains vehicle-specific software demo code, GUI software for re-measurement, configuration, calibration and firmware updates.

The combined solution gives users access to an optimized, top-notch and fully sketched Power + Control inverter platform. Both SEMIKRON and Silicon Mobility have a ready-to-use service that customers can use to get the solution right away and enable rapid prototyping and the development of any industrial or automotive system. The platform can be accessed as a white box in which users can adapt the packaging / housing of the SEMIKRON power module upon request and access the OLEA APP INVERTER object code via a dedicated license.
