Bel Power Solutions has launched the BCL25-700-8, a bidirectional, liquid-cooled 22/25 kW charger for inverter batteries with export functions for HEV or full EV vehicles as well as for medium and heavy duty on and off motorway vehicles. The device can be connected in parallel with up to four units in charging mode, with a typical efficiency of up to 94%.
With the device it is possible to connect this inverter charger directly to an EVSE charging station or directly to the public grid (single-phase: 190-264 VAC or three-phase 330-528 VAC) in order to charge HV batteries. The output voltage covers a wide range of HV batteries in the range from 240 VDC to 800 VDC with a constant output current of 60 A. If the motor is powered by the HV batteries instead of the motor, it can also export up to 22 / 25kW (400VAC / 50Hz or 480VAC / 60Hz) to power all of your three phase AC devices. Further highlights are the active monitoring of the HVDC interlock with overtemperature, output overvoltage and overcurrent protection as well as an operating coolant temperature of -40 ° C to + 60 ° C at full power and up to 50% power at + 75 ° C and operating ambient temperature + 80 ° C.
