Ginlong Technologies announced that its Solis storage inverter is now compatible with the LG RESU home battery. The Solis Residential Hybrid Inverter (RHI) is now fully compatible with the LG RESU 48V models to provide stable and reliable energy storage for the home. With this partnership, Ginlong offers its customers more choices in all markets worldwide.
"We are very excited about the compatibility with South Korea's leading manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries," said Yiming Wang, CEO of Ginlong Technologies. "Solis and LG Chem have combined their respective technologies to create a new competitive household storage solution that enables households to maximize their PV energy and achieve energy savings."
"We appreciate this valuable opportunity with Ginlong Technologies to help households achieve the goal of energy use and energy independence, and also to help households bring sustainability into their daily lives," said Jeongjin Hong, VP of LG Chem .
Solis RHI models with an output of 3 to 6 kW can be combined with the LG RESU 48V 3.3, 6.5, 10 and 13 for grid-connected systems as well as for applications in restricted backup mode.
Ginlong and LG Chem have worked closely to ensure system security and stability through extensive modifications and tests. LG Chem's multi-function battery management system and multi-level power protection technology improve safety, while Solis RHI's battery overcharge protection and its power control contribute to the stable operation of the combined system.
The communication between the inverter and the battery ensures interoperability: LG Chem's battery management system records and transmits various electrical parameters, while the Solis hybrid acts as an actuator to react quickly and precisely to these signals. Thanks to Ginlong's cloud-based monitoring, homeowners can keep an eye on the system's performance in real time.
